Edmonton Design Week 2026: Discover the Method Behind the Making

Edmonton Design Week returns October 13–18, bringing together designers, architects, artists, makers and the public for six days of creativity, conversation and discovery.

This year’s theme, “Method,” looks beyond finished designs to explore the ideas, processes and approaches behind how things are made. Presented by MADE (Media, Art, Design Edmonton), the festival features events across disciplines including architecture, furniture, industrial design, art, film, branding and service design.

Design Philosophy by Patrick Whitney.

Events take place across the city, with venues including The Cobalt, Edmonton City Hall, Stanley A. Milner Library and The Citadel Theatre, alongside studios, showrooms and other creative spaces.
