Edmonton's largest Asian night market is returning to Currents of Windermere from September 25–27, 2026, bringing three days of food, culture, entertainment and community to southwest Edmonton.
This year's AsiaFest theme, “Under the Moon,” celebrates the beauty and traditions of the Mid-Autumn Festival, with lantern displays, cultural experiences and a vibrant festival atmosphere.
AsiaFest has grown into one of Edmonton's largest celebrations of Asian culture, bringing together food vendors, artisans, performers, community organizations and visitors from across the city. The 2026 festival is set to be even bigger, with a venue twice the size of last year's festival footprint.
What to Expect
Visitors can enjoy a wide variety of experiences throughout the three-day festival, including:

Plan Ahead for Your Visit
Because AsiaFest is expected to attract large crowds, visitors are encouraged to plan their trip ahead of time.
Park & Ride: Heritage Valley Park & Ride will operate all three days from 5:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
Public Transit: ETS Route 716 provides regular service between Century Park LRT/Recreation Centre and Currents of Windermere.
Driving: Free parking is available at Currents of Windermere, although parking areas and surrounding roads are expected to be busy during peak periods. Some parking areas will also be temporarily restricted to accommodate festival activities. Visitors driving to the event are encouraged to carpool whenever possible.
